I double dipped on GON to get a digital version on iTunes as it is 4K SDR and with hopes that it will eventually be upgraded to the newly restored 4K HDR

I compared a little with the blu-ray, whose audio quality gives it an edge ... the picture quality is similar with more grain visible on blu-ray

After I watched half of Guns of Navarone, I decided to pause it and watch Raiders of the Lost Ark. Since Guns of Navarone is told in day to day chapters, it is easy to pause it and then get back to it.

While watching Raisers, I kept thinking about Guns, so I ditched Raiders and got back to Guns to finish it.

raise a family .. thats more entertainment than GoN

What’s the point in offering unwarranted advise! :dontknow: … What’s next, maybe go to a match thread and advise cricket lovers on raising families or whatever than watch/play cricket?

This is a movie thread, therefore, I would like to read on films!

Movies (like Cricket for many here) is one of my key hobbies, I have all the time in the world to devote to my hobbies! :aha:

Watched the Eagles … When I watch this film, I feel like revisiting the Munich-Salzburg area … Superb location and score … remains highly entertaining as always!

One should revisit these classics often.

Over the years, these two excellent action-adventure films have consistently provided me with joy. Therefore, it is time to include them in my top 10-15 favorites list, which tends to change every few years.
