Bro I am going to miss jaddu and Ashwin bad. I know we have some real fast bowling stocks in our domestic system

 

But can we truly replace jaddu and Ashwin? I guess we would because we do produce quite a few spin all rounders however I hope these 2 last another 4 years as spinners usually last longer.

Played 33 matches and lost only twice (once to eng and once to pak) and drew 12. However they didn't have Viv in the match they lost to pak, which is again a reasonable excuse. However they drew almost  a third of matches because of pitches in their era.. this might dampen the dominance record

 

Their streak was ended by England at Jamaica, when they defeated their full strength team. Since then england and aus defeated a bunch of times in 90s and from 2000s, its free real estate to most teams

 

Pakistan from 1980 Dec to 1986 Nov [27: 13-13-1] Win% : 48% W/L: 13

 

Played 27 matches and only lost once to Windies at Lahore which ended the streak. They have all their main players in this match, Imran/Javed/Qadir/Akram so this must be their full strength team at that point. Since then they lost to almost every test playing nation at home including Zimbabwe

 

However they won less than half in this period, so its not entirely dominant.

 

If we look at India's record since the eden garden loss to england..

 

India from 2012 Dec to 2017 Feb [21: 17-3-1] Win% : 80.9% W/L: 17

 

Only lost one match to Aussies at Pune after 20 matches undefeated.. but that was our full strength team so that streak can be considered ended there 

 

India from 2017 Mar to Present [14: 11-3-0] Win% : 78% W/L: ∞

 

Now we got a cool 14 match streak going on.. I hope it won't disturbed for another 13 matches so that we can reach 27 home matches undefeated and break Pak record. And from there, another 7 matches undefeated with full strength team can break the windies record.. breaking that Aussie record is very hard though, must have smooth transition when current gen players retire and avoid any freaky pitches like pune.. don't know if its possible to achieve. 

 

That Pune loss really screwed up an ATG home streak for us 

Pakistan does not count as they had home cooked umpires and horrible bias, I don't take any Pakistani home record seriously before neutral umpires. Indian team will beat any team at home in a series.
