Roles & responsibilities

lets see some R&R of some of our palyers.. to be clarified before worldcup..

Shardul should consider himself 60:40 cricketer.. more bowler than batsman but very imp to contribute as batsman..

W Sundar.. 80:20 as bowler.. you bowl, bowl and bowl with wet ball or against righties but bowling is your mainrole in T20s.. he is not a finisher.. can help us score some handy runs if we are 130/6 in 16 overs not when we are 154/5 after 18 overs..

H Pandya.. oh boy.. come what may,  top quality sides are not gonna bowl anything to you on pads.. your game is now dependent on how well you can play the ramp shot like ABD.. learn it fast to become the 360 player.. he will probably still do very well against weak/immature bowling teams like WI/SL though.. his bowling is on/off so thats fine for now

KLR / Pant.. increasingly becoming more and more clear that both cant be in the same 11.. and if you add Kishan to the mix, wonder if we need these two at all.. add Samson to the list and it becomes even more evident.. also is there any evidence of KLR doing well in pressure / Knockouts?

Y Chahal.. put this pest away from the team.. has caused us a lot of trouble.. htf did he come this far is a mystery ( credit to him )

Iyer.. this guy should perhaps stick to his natural game.. try to hit more fours than sixes against pacers in slog overs..

I dont have much to say about Rohit,Kohli , Bumrah, Bhuvi, Nattu, R Jadeja, Shami ( not death overs pls )

Liked Kohli's approach in this series.. banter about playing positive cricket to get to above par score.. im sure he saw something in Kishan/SKY/ R Chahar and giving them chances.. should have done lot earlier but nevertheless they have grabbed the chances..  only worry is lack of 6th bowling option

Final point is.. always pick a 11 which has a minimum of 8 match winners..  Dhawan/Rahane/Dube or even Iyer etc type are not match winners.. dont pick such guys frequently.
