kubrickian Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 (edited) Look at all the similarities: 1st test - drawn 2nd test - India won at Lord's. Anderson had a fight with Jadeja 3rd test - India batted first and had a collapse (8/4 at one stage) and bowled out for a low score. Lost 4th test - Lost 5th test - Lost England won series 3-1. I remember Murali Vijay played well in first 2 tests and then failed in most of the remaining innings and we are seeing something similar in KL Rahul. Kohli had a disastrous run against Anderson which is happening again in this series. I think generally India is not used to playing 5 match series as they will usually play once every 4 or 5 years and they find it hard to sustain the intensity and quality whereas England is more used to it as they play Ashes regularly which is a 5 match series. This is where England have an advantage. Edited August 25, 2021 by kubrickian Norman and Banton 1 1
