Different styles of of captaincy in T20s ( and ODIs )

If we think about it.. it seems like there are different types of captains out there..

Bowling based Captain : - somebody who would marshal his resources well on the field.. bring on spinners/ pacers at the right moment.. do some out of the box stuff to turn matches..

MSD is the best example.. he is doing well with the likes of Thakur/Deepak/Hazlewoods Bravos knowing well that they don't have pace.. in addition to his midas touch with spinners..

Batting based captain : Eoin Morgan is definitely a batting based captain.. he is pretty poor when 1 or 2 of his main bowler is gone... we have seen him lose to Scotland etc in ODIs coz he simply doesn't understand how to use the bowlers.. he can only win if he has some 150+ bowlers to support him..and he has no clue about spinners.. if not for KKR management he wouldn't even pick Narine and Chakravarthy in auctions..

And then there are insane people captaining.. Virat/Rahul types.. where they just chop and change every game.. no security for players.. any captain who makes more than 2 changes in a game ( without injuries ) is really doing lot of harm to his team..  pick wrong players and making them play at wrong positions.. W Saha opening for SRH and scoring at 110-120 SR knowing that pitches will slowdown drastically after 10 overs..

Franchises need to understand that Captaincy is the most crucial thing in leagues where the money purse is equally distributed.. having a good captain is a necessary condition to do well ( even if it is not the sufficient condition )..  barely any team has done well with bad captaincy.. may be RCB in 2016 when Gayle/Kohli/ABD/Rahul just had some extraordinary for together to pull their team to the finals
