swami1984 Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 We've seen how Steve f***nor has made such appalling decisions in the not-so-distant past...but I think that Rudi has been constantly making mistakes (in the CB ODI series, in SL-Aus test series, and now in the IPL). For example, the Watson lbw was a joke of an appeal by bowler (he hit it onto his pads) and Rudi still upheld it. What do you guys think? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hair was reinstated, Ashoka Desilva, one of the worst umpires ever and who failed even a written test on umpiring (meaning that he does not know the rules well enough) has been recalled into the elite panel. They are just there because ICC is silly enough to keep paying them well enough for a job they do with no success. The umpires of yesteryears look so capable than these modern day umpires. Cricketics Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 Indians very easily pick on steve bucknor everytime. i think there are many other umpires to pick on rather then always making Bucknor, the scapegoat.
