Definitely is. Cricket is an elitis sport. Too expensive for the average man. He'll in Australia warehouse cricket costs 30 bucks a week. Don't forget to factor in petrol, food etc. 

 

Grade cricket costs 400-600 a year but if you are good you can get sponsored. Still costs 2 to 3 k just to buy all the gear.
