zen Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 (edited) If Rohit is going to be the captain during the 2023 ODI WC, I will keep Ind's chances to a minimum at this point. If so, this means that 2024 is the WC to follow for Ind fans. I think that the next gen knows what needs to be done. We also need proper coaches to guide the team (i.e. not talk about hitting 50s or 100s like a broken record but talk about the SR after playing the first 10 balls). Without trying to complicate matters, need to focus on: Selecting high SR batsmen Fielding where players who field well are given the priority Playing at least 3 attacking bowlers in the 11 Developing players with multiple skills Creating a culture where players remain positive Do these basics right and we will eventually see good results!
