This Test win probably solidified his placing in the team for another year.

I do agree he should  be dumped, but he wont.

Since he is the captain, he isn't going to be dropped for the second Test but again once Rohit is fit KL should be the first to go. Shreyas Iyer & Gill both have done well and should not be dropped. Also India need to try other openers as well to replace Rohit in the Test side as well. He hardly plays Tests anymore and mostly is injured. His last Test was in March before that he missed the SA series as well. So no point in carrying a captain who is 35 years old and is hardly fit.
