Lack of U19 tours ? Almost no prep for world cup

Wonder what went wrong this time round, there has not been a single tour after Dhull & company won the world cup, absolutely zero international tours. Does anybody have any insight or reasoning for such a lethargic approach to U19 ? Are they feeling overconfident , do they not need any tours ?

Jaiswal , Gill had 2-3 international tours experience i believe, dhull & company played a tournament in Dubai & before that bangladesh visited india for a series, but this time around very little prep. Don’t even know who are the contenders!

They are preparing through camps. Will then have challenger trophy and then tour.

Had Jaipur Camp recently from April to May

With WC being this time around in SL,they think India preparation is enough as of now
