SachDan Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Needs to show more consistency and to be more strong mentally.
Rohip Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 He bullies Bangladesh and us but gets bullied by everyone else
theguyinallblue Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 only similarity between the two would be..if butt grows his beard like mulla...to be like Anwar.. other than that...he can not be like anwar in this life..
amits Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 he seems to be a asian team specialist, but i think he can improve his game and start to do well against teams like aus & sa in future
Predator_05 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 He is crap. If you think he is even remotely similar to Anwar, you don't know what you are talking about.
THX_1138 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 i never had particular respect for anwar either. heck the only pakistani batsman i have ever held in high esteem (and i am talking about the last ten years) had been Inzimam Ul Haq. True a number of other gits have managed knocks against us... there is the once in every 4 years century by Afridi, or the run a two ball 80 by Yousuf, and a spirited 60 by Younis... but they are all like storms on a small lake... they blow hard and threaten rain but are easily weathered. while he did well in the 2007 series in India, in the 2006 series in Pakistan, after a brilliant start, Pathan grabbed him by his family jewels and permitted him less than 12 balls in the remaining series. Same applies to Shoaib Malik... was all fireworks and big words in the 2006 series and prior to that series in the occassional chance encounters; but ever since he has been found out.
prince40 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 i think he will be the next Anwar theyve been sayin that bout this guy since the last 5 years, but he keeps getting dropped from the side more often than not:giggle:
Laaloo Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 what happened to that "talunt" who was supposed to be the next Tendulkar?
amits Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 i think u ppl should watch out for nasir jamshed. he seems to be a talented batsman irrespective of what pakistanis say
Laaloo Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 i think u ppl should watch out for nasir jamshed. he seems to be a talented batsman irrespective of what pakistanis say u mean the next bradman? :giggle::giggle::giggle:
printex Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Butt might have more 100s or runs but he can never be elegant as Anwar.
amits Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 u mean the next bradman? :giggle::giggle::giggle: look at the last few lines in my post. i said " irrespective of what pakistanis say"
Yuvraj4Captaincy Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Anwar Was A Class Batsmen And Butt Needs To Be Consistent For A Decade For Us To Draw Comparison.
graphic23 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Anwar Was A Class Batsmen And Butt Needs To Be Consistent For A Decade For Us To Draw Comparison. Point Taken. Do We Need To Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word In The Sentence?
The Outsider Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 ^ :hysterical: My guess is that it's a filter that varun put on which prevents all caps posts, instead puts the first letter of the word in caps.
