My only interest in watching KKR:  Rinku Singh's continued development as Team India's premier finisher, Harshit Rana's all-round/fast bowling ability and Suyash Sharma's rise as a contender for an India leggie role. Otherwise, they can shove it.

But then again, I feel the same way about all IPL teams - just focus on young/upcoming Team India talents. Rest of it is irrelevant.

@coffee_rules - time to hit me with the P-word again.

Other than Harshit Rana's success, full opposite has happened. Rinku has had hardly had a chance to shine, and when he has got opportunities, he has not really capitalized. Suyash Sharma? I don't think he has played at all.

KKR shoving it? Quite the opposite - they have dominated the tourney, made the final, and are heavy favorites to win it all with the main contributions from guys I don't care much for - Narine, Salt, Russell.

Whatever.

Whatever.

They have built a team perfectly. Every single batsman in top 7 are six hitters.  Among them. Narine bowler. Dre Russ bowler. You get 8 overs there. Impact sub make their line up even stronger.

Shreyas Iyer is leading his second team to final. First DC to final in 2020. Now KKR.  He has a shot at ODI captaincy? His choice of Harshit Rana over Starc surprised a few in a death over scenario. But it worked.

You know 2027 WC is in RSA right? On those pitches Iyer won't make it to our women's team.

i will be surprised if KKR dont win it again, heck it will be tough for teams to beat them in any game-they are like the indian T20 team with all bases covered.

If he fixes that short ball issue, so that its not a problem in sena then he is a contender and he knows that.

He knew he can captain Ind and still didnt work on short-ball issue was surprising

It is not an issue with short ball anymore. It is an issue with his ego more than short ball. Against right ball he plays pull better than some of the regulars. But he takes it too far in the name of proving people wrong. Once he controls that ego he should be better.

Yes he should be able to work out a way in odis, not that hard specially for some1 like him who and target other kind of bowling.

Can leave and play some, as soon as it will become a non-threat to him bowlers will stop bowling short stuff.

Its hard in test and t20i to have obvious week spot but, in odis smart batters can negotiate and work around it
