all the best to indian team. esp shikhar dhawan, who i hope becomes the top run-getter in the tournament now with the tournament starting, its time to say best of luck to india & also best of luck to badrinath & dhawan badrinath has been in fringes of national selection for almost 3 years now, but has been extremely unlucky not to make it through. also, looked very impressive in the ipl as well & has been doing well in domestic cricket in the last 2-3 years dhawan, is another unlucky player, was the top run getter in the 2004 u-19 wc, also, was the top run-getter in the eurasia cup 2006, is a better player than the rohit sharmas & robin uthappas who have got their chances for india & can play spin better than most players in the current odi team. was very impressive in domestic cricket & ipl this season. has a avg of 46 in list-a & 41 in fc i hope to c both badrinath & dhawan in the indian team in the champions trophy this year:two_thumbs_up: GO INDIA, GO BADRINATH & GO DHAWAN!!!

i think we should not take the India A tour to israel that seriously... its a political tour... with little importance to cricket.... and we should not judge players performances against Israel... EPT in australia is a good test for fringe players...to show Vengy ( he is there) their skills and temperament.... and i am sure....Vengy will give a lot of importance to good performances in this tournament..

this has got to be the 1 of the lowest scoring 20/20 matches. although <100 scores have been enough sometimes in club 20/20 matches, but for 87 to be a winnable score in a match of a higher standard, must have something to do with the pitch. also, the boundaries must have been atleast 75m as none of the teams were all out, but they couldnt even make 100 as well i still feel that if ind had played a bit more sensibly and looked to score 110-120 in the 20/20 intl against aus earlier this year, it could have proved to be winnable

When India A had gone to Australia for the Top-End tour in July 2006, Dhawan was in red hot form and I expected him to do better than the rest there. But he disappointed me badly then. I fear for the same result this time too, for him. Hope he proves me wrong.

dhawan is good enough to prove u wrong. gambhir did well in the cb series in aus earlier this year, even becoming the top run-getter & dhawan is a very similar player to gambhir, so he should do well in this tournament, esp the 50-over matches

Tiwary got worked over big time by Lee the last time. A couple of bouncers put Tiwary firmly in the crease followed by a beauty screaming in at middle stump. I think he got out for a three ball duck.

He had just come off the plane to Australia though and Brett Lee did work him over very well. Tiwary would likely have never faced anyone near the pace of Brett Lee, before.
