Lurker Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 han attested chacha ke paas certificate leke jaya karte the.. chacha bolate the pata nahin surgeon ka kya kaam hai ismein lao kahan sign karna hai :haha: :haha::haha: Actually sometimes that Attesting thing really got me all mad. Before sending out forms you had to get them attested and then you would go to some relative(remember the term Gazetted Officer? :hysterical: ) and they would do the attesting. This part was easy. But if these relatives/jaan-pehchaan ke log, were ghayab/on vacation etc. then Dad would take me to Local Surgeon. Generally all these Surgeons would show they were really busy. And Dad would politely explain the situation. What bugged me specially was when my Dad would turn towards me and tell me - Beta Uncle ko Pranam karo..:cry_smile: Man mein gaali dete huye pranam karta tha. Waise that whole Pranam thingy reminds me of the millions of times I would meet some relative at station and Dad/Mom would go all - Beta Pair choo Uncle ke..:cry_smile:
Guest dada_rocks Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Ab to aur bhi kharab ho gai hai situation.... jisko na janate hain wo bhi sirf pair chhulwane hi aata hai.... :-))
Ram Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Come on guys, this is unfair. There's just too much Hindi going around. There's a limit to how much I can slowly read alphabet by alphabet, put 'em together and make some sense out of it! :D
Guest dada_rocks Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 MM when we are talking in hindi it's mostly BS not worth being in the loop.:haha:
