Mark my words. We'll run Bumrah into the ground. Get in Akash Deep as well here coz neither our spinners or an extra "batsman" will make any difference. This series can only be won by our pacers. We won the 1st Test when they bowled out Aussies for 100. We could've bowled Aussies for maybe around 250 if we had Akash Deep here with pink ball doing something.

 

"Extra" batting works if we've any batting but with 2 walking wkts in our top order (Kohli, Rohit) that ship has sailed. So the best option is to pack the team with pacers and hope they bowl out Aussies for less coz our batsmen aren't out-scoring Aussie batsmen unless Jaiswal or Pant perform some magic.

The culprits or repeated batting disasters are assured places in playing 11. Let everything work around them to make up.

 

In batting we only have 2 match winners - Jaiswal and Pant. If they perform we win else we lose. Rohit and Kohli aren't gonna do shyte.

 

I feel bad for Bumrah. He has been our standout player for the last decade and kept us competitive and he got ZERO support from our batsmen. If we had someone like Travis Head instead of Rohit or Kohli, Bumrah and Shami probably win the same no. of ICC tourneys Pat Cummins and Starc were able to win. They had Travis Head while we had useless mouth breathers Kohli and Rohit.
