Unpopular opinion: ICC should stop deliberately putting India and Pak in the same group

This is not unpopular, its well know fact now. broadcaster saw the potential of Ind vs Pak and then kept using it to promote the icc events.

Making ads, trying to create media hype on this 1 match.

 

And because Ind and Pak has to be in 1 group the rest of the teams have to be low quality-last t20 wc had Can and US in same group as Pak and Ind making sure even both Ind and pak has high chance of moving to next stage after losing 1 game (Ind vs Pak).

 

This group will never have a multiple big team and because they cannot have all sena teams  in 1 group they put NZ in ind -pak group. NZ is one sena team which both pak and Ind fancy to win against even though ind finds it hard to beat them in icc event, but its better than having aus or eng or sa..

 

In t20i-Aus wc ,Ind pak were clubed with sa but the other 2 team were zim and nthlnd (not sure but these are 4 team).

Forget ICC...what is in our hand ? We should altogether stop playing against Pakistan ! Even if it happens to be the Semi Final or even a Final, in fact bigger the stage the better message it delivers to the world. Why would we want to still play a country that caused our citizens so much suffering or continues to do. If US and its Western allies could boycott the whole Olympic event for some invasion thousands of miles away then why can't we boycott Pakistan ?

You want to do something this drastic then stop exporting meds and don't send jayashankar.
