Rebuilding test team

Time has come to rebuild test team and make a team capable of winning in england Australia 

 

One good thing is that batting talent seems to be on a high with jaiswal gill sai pant all special talent and very very young

 

Sundar is a good find too especially long time since a indian spinner looked threatening in england

 

Here are my 2 cents

 

We need to get our test team structure right with emphasis on fast bowlers

 

Jaiswal

Rahul

Sai

Gill

Pant

Iyer/sarfaraz 

Sundar/Bawa

Kuldeep yadav

Bumrah

Kuldeep sen

Umran/mayank

 

Reserve -Arshdeep , harshit,akashdeep

 

6 pure bat

4 genuine bowler

1 allrounder 

 

Try to work on batting of kuldeep, sen, mayank but no compromise on bowling

 

I think siraj is a loser and is failed investment and should never play for india again

 

Jadeja imbalances this side so should be retired

 

Reddy has no batting talent or bowling penetration he should be dropped too

Sai is poor. Just technique isn't everything. You have to score big. Even in FC his numbers are poor. 

 

Bumrah and Kuldeep should be first names in bowling. If you want bowlers who bat do it with other spots

 

Fast bowlers need to stay fit. Harshit should have been a regular in this series though.

From the top 6 batsman, atleast  2 should be able to bowl.

 

Instead of selecting bowlers who can bat,ie Sundar ,select batsman who can bowl ie Rinku, Parag  etc.

 

If we have lost test series to New Zealand, Australia, England, we cant always sacrifices  Patidar,Bharat,Sarfaraz ,Paddikal,Karun ,Sai ,Prasiddh, Harshit .Seniors ie Jaiswal, Rahul,Gill,Pant,Jadeja,Bumrah,Siraj should also share the blame and should be dropped.
