This is far from largest deal in armed forces history.

S400,  Rafales were far more costly.

And some of the submarine deals are mind boggling when it comes to cost

 

This is a good step nevertheless.  A huge Brahmos stockpile is crucial.

Until our other Missile systems mature.. a battle tested one is always a safe bet.

 

These would be around 700+ Missiles..  hopefully they get the costs down a bit coz of mass manufacturing and we can push it to 1000
