SachDan
ICC is all set to announce former West Indies captain Clive Lloyd as the new ICC cricket Committee Chairman tommorow at its annual conference.CNN IBN reported this evening. The only other contender was Majid Khan of Pakistan. But PCB sources confirmed that he is no more in the race. 'Big Cat' is a worthy successor to sunny Gavaskar. Link to comment

theguyinallblue
May be ICC ( Eng, Aus) is trying to buy the vote of WI..so that they can challenge the rampant BCCI..:winky: i think some one from Sri Lanka should have been the chairman... For long SL has been at the sidelines... i think BCCI should have backed someone like Arvinda for the Post.. Link to comment
Ram
Another useless committee, another useless chairman post. Long, arduous, yet unfailingly useless hours spent in totally irrelevant meetings, hundreds of thousands of pounds spent on Business class tickets and luxury suites. For the crappy job that the ICC does, it requires only 2 employees: The Chairman and the security guard who locks and opens the building everyday. Man, someday, I would like to be part of these committees, tour the world with my family with all expenses paid, attend cricket matches for free and just enjoy the sunshine. Link to comment
