Shreyas Iyer for Sanju Samson would be our best batting line up in T20s

He is a good ODI player and should focus on IPL where he is rated highly for his captaincy.

 

Also, 2 mins silence for all those memes that float around after the IPL which were pretending that how the new coach selector are unbiased against Shreyas and 1-2 other players. Such rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt.

More likely this and previous TM and selectors have made promises to the players which they can not keep.

They would have told as soon as this senior lot retires they will give chances to them, but the situation now is rohit and kolhi want to continue in Odis which on their current record suggest they can.

 

So here is a situation there is huge talent pool and every next year few more players are added and now there is no avenue left to accommodate all the player, they have been spreading the players around in various formats and A tours to keep them and their franchise pr/fan base happy.

 

The thing they did with GIll in t20is may have rattled some player like Jaiswal and Iyer. Sarafaz was dropped for some1 else.

 

Donot think S.iyer is dumb that he is trying to take on bcci, he may be not comfortable with the situation, every Ind player knows their IPL value is driven by their chances of making into Ind team or if they are in current rotation. Even Rohit is losing his value. 

 

And Iyer is not in a franchise which is know to back its players, the day he tapers he will be left out. He is not rohit dhoni kolhi who can bend bcci.

Even Pandaya understood that and kind of a changed man now, previously even when sky was captain he would come to the bowlers try to talk to him and encourage them on field and cameras whould capture that, now he is not doing it may be he is been told by bcci not to grab too much cam time and he is big part and back engine room player. 

 

Ruturaj was waiting fr his spot in odis, jaiswal just lost spot in t20is, Siraj lost white-ball spot so a lot is goiing on its not just Iyer bt lot of the players are facing same thing
