Before anyone asks me .... heres the low down ... If we win with SL we obviously go thru no matter what the result of Pak vs BD But if we lose narrowly (as in the last ball ) then Pak need to win by a margin of about 8 overs (if chasing) or by about 40 runs (if defending) So finey has your BP shot up to where it should usually be ... :-D

The same old story. We carried the bonus point and our team got complacent. Our youngsters struggled to score in middle overs vs Ajmal. I don't see them negotiating Mendis and Murali at a same time while scoring runs. I would like Yousuf pathan and Veeru to open and GG @ 4 OR GG opens and bats all the 50 overs.

This scenario will have both India and Pakistan tied at four points, but Pakistan would head into the final by virtue of more wins in the Super Four stage. * If India lose, and Pakistan lose to Bangladesh, India's higher points tally will see them through. * If either of the India-Sri Lanka or Pakistan-Bangladesh games is tied or has a no-result, then Pakistan won't be able to catch up with India on points, and will be out of the final. The 2nd one is the killer scenario. Apparently, NRR is irrelevant in this tournament.

It makes sense and there shouldn't be any questions if Pak does make it through finals. India vs Sri Lanka, reminiscent of WC 07 match ? I hope the result does not go the same way :nervous:

well how on the earth our NRR got so low. we were +3 and then beat Bangladesh with some overs to spare. Today we lost in 45 over and our NRR gets so low. I am surprised.

India will most likely win..I'm pretty sure SL will rest atleast 2 of their main players like vaas and jayasuria..or maybe murali and sangakkara..
