This 'Kimappa' Kimber+ Uthappa lol segment delves into match simulation which Indian team does a lot. As a matter of fact India did match simulation at Perth. I think they decide batting order based on match simulations.

Nothing new Ind batters have been doing this for years, intensity may have increased and more data and science and purpose.

 

On other thread suggested this open nets camps/ programs for faster bowlers. this is the way ind can fast track some bowler and do the development cycle before hand.

 

think its a right move by bcci to make a new captain, ppl may debate who should that have been. bt good if they are set to play rohit and kolhi that is a good move. remove the burden of captaincy from rohit play him as batter this will reduce the pressure in odd games where things does not go right.

 

Both can concentrate on batting and their processes inplace of being involved in admin and tm things. Think rohit is already is working with Abhishek Nayar, a good coach from what have heard about him.

 

Yes not an apple to apple comparison bt looking at how hayden would come and play fr csk with fresh mind after retirement with no burden kind of thing with rohit and kolhi.

 

not sure if its 100% but Ind is supposed to by play 27 more games till wc 27 so not much time left to introduce an opener and a #3  now.

 

Ind is going to take 2 ~40 yo and most likely team will hardly have a t20 batter so they have to keep the scoring high, avg. 1st innings odi totals in SA is 280 so high scoring  

 

And listening to Robin clearly shows the issue with the system why Ind does not win Icc events or event, players plays differently in other non-consequential and in high stakes event or game. They by default are in their shell and undecided. diff between Aus and Ind.

 

Even say diff between Ind and Eng. Eng were good for small time frame in white-ball and they made it count.
