CPI(M), will meet President for official withdrawal tomorrow. He has also accused UPA of not sticking to it's commitment of common minimum programme. See the travesty of Indian democracy and what a glory this Congress has brought. A PM who is NOT EVEN ELECTED BY PEOPLE, a puppet installed by Sonia Manio. A President who is literally a slave of Manio madam, is installed by her to show the world that if she decided to abondon PM chair she will hold India on ransom by keeping all controls with her. This Congress is a disgrace and insult for more than one billion "minority" Hindus of India. The sooner this government goes the better. Puppet PM whose government is effectively in minority now, is visiting Japan for G-8 :giggle: But unfortunately, this painful joke of a government is not going to end here, I think Congressis will manage the vote of confidence since Mullayam and Amar Singh have cut a deal. I am sure huge amount of money is going to be paid to all MPs belonging to Samajwadi Party, while they will lure MPs from Deve Gowda, Ajit Singh and perhaps even Akali Dal might bend to gain monetary benefits. Indian demmocrazy will touch a new low under Congress in coming days, with lots of money and benefits changing hands...watch this space to be witness of the drama. Since, as usual, our stoopid news channels lack the brain and thinking to educate masses about actual no. of MPs belonging to each party and constituents of UPA government, how they will manage if they lure MPs, I will cross-post a little old statistic which was posted in other thread United Progressive Alliance (UPA) -- Total MPs = 218 Total MPs required in Loksabha to form a simple majority = 273 Communist Parties supporting outside with Total MPs = 59 So at present Congress led UPA has total 218+59= 277 -- just enough for simple majority. Now, if Left parties, under Chinese pressure, withdraw support from UPA, it will come in minority and a simple no-confidence motion put by BJP will be enough for MMS+Sonia to kiss goodbye. BUT Here comes Samajwadi Party in the fray -- the worst opportunist from our own fertile lands of UP. Suddenly, Mullaayam it seems has cut a deal with Congress. Samajwadi Party -- Total MPs = 36 Junta Dal (Sikoolar) = 3 Total=39. so, 218+39 = 257 Still a solid, 16 MPs short to form a government. So, it's clear that if Congress and Sonia Manio decides for a showdown in parliament, they have to buy Mayawati first, or they have to drill hole in NDA coalition and get the number, by offerring lucrative cabinet positions, monetary benefit to MPs.

Akali Dal will vote for UPA...to support a Sikh PM..it has 8 votes.. then Farooq Abdulla has 2 votes... and other tiny winy parties have some votes... but Haramkhor Left didn't even wait for PM to return... they will be reduced to WB only in the coming election..may be not..even there... Bengalis will not forget Nondigram so easily...

They do the bidding of Chincommies since their major funding flows from that side. I am sure Prakash Karat after withdrawing support, will proudly hold the red undies of Brinda Karat and Arundhoti Roy and reach Chinese embassy in Delhi to wave it like a red flag and do a LAAL SALAAM to his Chinese masters and collect his cash reward as promised by CPC.:giggle: Point is leftists have always been anti-India traitors. Their stand after 1962 Indo-China war should have been enough lesson for people of West Bengal to dump them into dustbin. Their present stand is hardly a surprise since they were very clearly against deal right from the beginning. But, thing is, our Puppet PM is not even elected directly by poeple. Still he has audacity to obey the command of Manio madam and negotaite an important agreement with a foreign country known for bullying. Why can't Manmohan be transparent and listen to advice of BJP. i.e. BJP has said they will support the deal if PM agrees to do the following -- (1) Put the actual TEXTS of agreement on the floor of parliament for discussion -- so far Congress has not even revealed the actual TEXTS of 123 agreement. All we have seen are media speculations and psy-ops. (2) Make it official- the actual draft agreement with 32 member NSG group and IAEA.....what India is going to negotiate as "safeguards" is not even known to anyone including a major elected opposition party of India(BJP). (3) Make it official the TEXTs pertaining to right for reprocessing of spent fuel. Will NSG/USA take back the spent fuel? Are we going to pay everytime for re-fueling while loosing the right to reprocess and re-use the spent fuel inspite of having the technology? (4) Testing a futuristic miniaturized Nuclear Weapon of higher yield is India's sovereign right and India should be free to test it in future as and when she develops one. The uninturrupted supply of fuel must be guaranteed in case India tests a nuclear devise. (5) Adequate future funding for India's home grown Fast Breeder Reactor programme, BJP is concerned that through this deal USA is trying to cap India's indigenous capabilities by diverting all Indian funding to foreign imported reactors. We should not forget that it was BJP who grew balls and tested a Nuclear devise, and endured all the sanctions and criticism, just to ensure that India has adequate deterrence to defend her billion plus population, although nuke weapons were ready during PVNR regime for testing. Congress has no right to cap our strategic programme which it never cared to nurture and protect.

Guest dada_rocks Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Govt has nearly compleyted its tenure anyway.. this is all gimmick.. left has to ask vote so they will pretend to be different from congress after all how else they are going to ask vote while fighting against congress.. hopefully people will see through this machination of criticising the policies of govt while supporting it.. trust motion is anybody's game looks dicey because even mulayam's muslim MPs might not vote according to whip.......All those parties which has seen recent reversal in electroal fortunes like TRS and JD (S) are going to support it because they don't want to face another election which basically means certain defeat for them..

Sonia mata won't do these things lest people start giving BJP credit for it.. heck she changes the name of programs started by NDA and throws it as some acheivement .. case in point insurance program for daily wage workers in unorganized sector.... China is not being roadblock but left are turnign out to be one .. I guess chinese want their bidding to be done without getting themselves exposed.. What the fccuk are parties llike Shiv Sena and Akai dal turning into one supports Pratibha no-good Patil because she is parathi and now Akali dal supporting because PM is Sikh.. how lame.....
