Went in the afternoon, all sold out, 10 day wait. Apparently there were 100 people in line since midnight waiting for the store to open today. Paid for it though, they will give me a call when my number comes, which they approximate is 7 to 10 days.

Do you have to be bondable ? The phone I am using right now needs to be in the garbage but the problem is I am stuck with 3 year contract with Fido :((.
Rajiv Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 BB, iphone at $199 is only 3 year contract, same with Fido..same with the 6GB/Mtnh for $30 I recently renewed my 3 year after getting a great voice mail plan but I never did a hardware upgrade coz I had a great phone but then why leave the oppurtunity when something like this comes up All you have to do is ask for a hardware upgrade, it might not be $199 could be $249 or more P.S The $199 is after instant $50 anyways so the actual is $249 So what I have is $34 ( Voice Plan ) which has 250 Daytime mins Unlimited Evenings and Weekened ( Starting at 6PM ) Unlimited Text ( 2500/mth ) Free Incoming Calls Free Rogers to Rogers Call Display + 30/Mth for the 6GB before taxes Man this 3G is fasssst..You tube vids just load up instantly

I never knew you couldn't upgrade your phone while you're on contract. I was always under impression that you could change your handset but not the plan while being under the contract. What is 6 GB/mo = 30$ charge for ? They charge you for internet browsing on your phone ? I thought we could access our wireless internet via Iphone. Sorry its a n00bie question :nervous:

Sorry its a n00bie question :nervous: OK so the iphone has 3 different ways to access the internet. 1. wifi. basically the same that you use for your laptop.. you're home wifi. Your iphone can connect to it. This can be done when you're home or at a store or something. You obv cant get wifi while driving... 2. 3G. 3G is a connection type, which is "broadband for phones. " This comes wirelessly.. so its like broadband internet on your phone.. wherever you are. 3. EDGE. Edge is another connection type, and it is not as fast as 3g. Not all places have 3g, as it is a new technology and is not installed everywhere. The iphone can connect to edge wherever 3g isnt there. the 6gb/month is the limit on downloading stuff to your phone from 3g and EDGE.
