The order was pronounced by Justice BH Vaghela on a petition filed by a survivor of the carnage, Neelkanth Bhatia, who had challenged the setting up of Banerjee Committee. The fire started inside the compartment. I hate them all too. I wasn't in India when all this happened so I don't know what were the scenes. All I know is * A train was on fire where people got killed. There was mob around the train and some people on TV said that the train was set on fire. from whatever I have read/seen so far I think its was a case of attack on that train. * 1000s of people died after that in riots. I saw a documentary about it in Aus and it showed this Muslim woman telling her story about how her husband was killed in front of her eyes and the cops were meters away and still didnt do anything. Its sad ... As I have mentioned before on this form that I have spent years in cities like Moradabad and Meerut (they have 50-50 Hindu Muslim population). I grew up in those cities around the time of babri masjid riots. I have seen Hindus say "I dont eat lunch during riots unless I kill a muslim" I have also seen muslims say " Kaffir ko ghar se nikal ke maroo" To me all these riots happen because of our Politicians ... & for these bombs I blame extremists who get help/training from Pakistan to kill their own people. In UP I realized that the cause of these unrest is usually poverty and nothing else. For the present mess I think Congress seems to be the culprit. At first I didnt believe theories that Congress is being unfair for not giving powers to some states to better control terrorism but now I am starting to believe it. I just saw on aaj tak that they have arrested 3 people in Mumbai and the first thing they clarified "They do not have any connection with Gujarat blasts" then I realized that Mumbai police is going to prove that these guys were planning something in Maharashtra and since they have been stopped it gives Congress bragging rights in the next election. There are trillions of $ at stake in the next election. All these politicians will do anything to get into power.

As the train started moving, someone pulled the emergency chain and it came to a halt near the signal point, where a mob attacked the coaches with petrol and acid bombs, setting them on fire, the official said.
