DomainK
After that first test, this is very inspiring. Beating them on their backyard on a spinning track with their best spinners on the job is a quite a statement. Well done team India.:two_thumbs_up: Link to comment

King
One of the better comebacks One of the better comebacks and least expected. Many mentioned white wash but as ever this Indian unit fights on like they have done before. I think this Indian team has made a habit of this, coming back strongly after the first test debacle. Although some of the seniors didn't do as well as they were expected, the team worked well in the second inning in particular. I suppose people should stop giving Bhajji hard time just because his past figures overseas are dodgy. The two come back tests, one against South Africa at home to tie the series and this test match have been terrific for Bhajji. Now what more is he supposed to do? BTW he was also very handful in the CB series finals against Australia. He's proved time and again he can pick wickets in a crucial game. I think it's high time people here back him on current form and not his form ages ago. Link to comment
DomainK
Virender Sehwag is the hero of the match. He and GG played the fast bowlers and the spinners with equal ease. Carrrom or doosra, everything was dispatched for fours and sixes. Sehwag was absolutely merciless on a pitch where most other batsmen struggled in varying degrees.:adore: Ishant was exceptional in the final innings. What a spell.:adore: Zaheer was very effective as well. The pair produced what was almost impossible on that track. Bhajji was our answer to Mendis. Tit for tat and 10 for 10. We had bowlers who could take 10 for Mendis's 10. They didnt have the batsmen who could produce runs in spite of that. Great match. Great weekend. Great victory. Link to comment

DomainK
now lets see.. wat srilankan ex and current players gonna write in their columns.... Fernando sounded dry today. He spoke too much last time saying that the Indian batsmen are scared of Mendis and Murali. That they have no confidence that they can stay at the crease. That the batsmen have no idea how to bat. That was honestly too much. And yes, Ranatunga. Will he have the face to make another statement? Link to comment
sandtest
That's India for you in Test Cricket!! In last match we failed because not just our batsmen, it's our bowlers who were not able to deliver. To WIN a test match you have to take all 20 wickets, there is simply NO OTHER way. We corrected this and business as usual. India rightfully claims her deserved position as World No.2 in Test Cricket-- in direct competition with Kangaroos. Link to comment

King
"Express Yourselves" - That article by Sanga and the "India playing too much Twenty 20" - by Ranatunga was always going to come back to bite if India made a come back. Sanga's article was too much over the top. One game and he thought India will fold up like the rest of the teams. Most good teams can't be written off and atm Aussies, Saffies and India are capable of staging terrific comebacks. This is truly a good lesson for players that start feeling too comfortable after just one win. Sri Lankan batting was irresponsible and disgusting. Even worse than the two attempts of Indian batting in the last test match. Wonder what the title of Sanga's next article will be "We expressed ourselves way too much":winky: Link to comment
