umpire Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 BAD NEWS:mumbai can be still be knocked out if it fails to bowl out saurashtra in 1st innings' date='irrespective of whether they concede the lead or not:(([/quote'] really?? Thats strange rule. In that case Mumbai needs to dismiss Sitanshu Kotak quickly, that guy can bat for long long long time without scoring runs. Saala Dravid ka baap hai us mamle me. Go Kotak Go
Holysmoke Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 No. If Saurashtra doesnt get all out, then they see the run rate of all previous games...
Guest Hiten. Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 If Pujara + jadeja + kotak do keep ZAK at the bay for 2 days, then their future is bright and team India should welcome these lads with their arms wide open. We are still finding it hard to find a good pace bowler from the domestic circuit.
graphic23 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Watching this would make Salil cry. So far Agarkar: 2.3 overs, 24 runs. Econ: 9.60. Zaheer: 3.33.
Guest Hiten. Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Agarkar getting his **** handed over to him by Pathak. damn it...no link yet

Desi Cartman Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Zak ends Pathak's affair with Sir Aggy. fixed :two_thumbs_up:
fineleg Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Sir Aggy! :hahaha: gone for 2! Srini takes a dig: "Whether its Test or Ranji, even after this many years, Agarkar consistently maintains his Last-ball syndrome, looks like. His last ball of every over promptly gets dispatched to the boundary (even Bermuda did it in the world cup)."
Guest Hiten. Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I had a chat with Kotak last night about his bowling to Tendulkar. It was hilarious. Apparently Tendulkar told Kotak to bowl his left-arm spin a touch faster, it was too slow to hit! And Kotak told him, why are you trying to hit out of the ground, over ropes would be enough to get you six. :haha::haha:
Guest Hiten. Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Agarkar to Chauhan, OUT, Agarkar lets out a war cry after knocking out the middle stump. It was full, it shaped in and Chauhan went for the straight drive but pushed outside the line as the ball curved in to clean him up
Laaloo Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Agarkar to Chauhan, out Bowled!! ripper !! fuller length delivery on the middle stump, Chauhan on the front foot to defend, misses it and the ball hits the pads, on the way to the stumps, good bowling. Chauhan b Agarkar 14(31) [4s-1] :D
h4te Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 change the thread title to Saurashta Vs Sir Aggy Just kidding SIR AGGY!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Hiten. Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Pujara gawn :(( Our youngsters have to play big innings in such pressure games to make their case strong. Cheeka too is following the game.
Chandan Posted January 6, 2009 Author Posted January 6, 2009 Pujara wasn't very impressive in handling short deliveries from Zaheer and Agarkar which were relatively fast even on this docile pitch, though he pulled Kulkarni with comfort because he was much slower and very inconsistent.
Rajan Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Over to TN-UP match- UP- 141 FOR 3, Raina and Kaif sent packing by Balajee. he has already bowled 17 overs for 34 runs. i hope he is not overbowled. his fitness is very important.

L. Balaji needs to keep up the consistency. Hope he can eventually make his way into the Indian squad. Was a very useful bowler when injury problems hit him.
