Good late-cut by Amir Khan off Ashwin. UP need 56 more, three wickets in hand. Amir Khan is batting sensibly with Shiva. And the last throw of the dice by TN. New ball taken. Bala will operate. PS: And Shiva has reached 150, easily his best effort in a six-year-old career. Yestrday, 103 not out, he was saying his job is only half done. He wanted to see the team through. Will he manage to do it? UP need 50 more, three wickets in hand.
They are still stuck on 399. 47 runs required. Ashwin got edge off Shiva, but it fell short of Badri at first slip.

i sent the details to my friends in US. BUT EVERY TIME THEY SAY-" Machchee, how can i ever go in to a sony show room and ask for a radio? if i ever say that, i wud have the feeling of the whole world watching me and wondering -a radio! why on earth some one wud buy a radio"! bought one chinese make in chennai- stereovision, anothere 10 band, it was waste of money. when ever i was at work or travelling or when i was in college class, sony wud be a great source of updates. even lecturers and school teachers used to send students for score update! but my daughter cant stop laughing when i say-radio! she says-"say FM. What radio, kedio".
Dont buy chinese makes. They must have some Panasonic or Sony in India - look around.

Tea break has been taken in the Saurashtra v Mumbai game. In the UP game, it's still 4 minutes away. They now need 45 more. Three wickets still in hand. What an innings this has been from Shivakant Shukla. Sad to say Rajan that TN is out - but UP will be through. Mumbai vs UP

And UP have done it. UP to face Mumbai in Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy final. What an sensational marathon effort from Shivakant Shukla. Praveen Gupta hit a boundary off Bala to trigger off celebrations and the entire UP team has invaded the field. Spirited effort from TN, mainly from Bala, the one-man army. Match has been called off. What a day for Shukla. He was under severe pressure early this season to hold his spot after his failings last year but they gave him a chance because of his experience and he has come through. And how. Fab stuff.

vow.. superb stuff from Shukla.. took his team single handedly.. excellent stuff.. well TN dont deserve to b in the finals with this shyte bowling they have.. cant win a match with one bowler balaji.. and with this strong batting lineup, they shud have scored more.. so UP deserve to b in the finals.. and i think mumbai will steamroll UP...

my heart bleeds for Balaji.lion hearted effort. it is not every day u see a seamer slog and bowl 54 overs in an innings, especially after a back surgery. picked up 5 wickets.what a performer. As i posted earlier, Vidharbha association should charge rent from shukla and bill him for bed and breakfast too. it is so rare to see a batsman , an opener play for 9 hours and reach a target! especially when his previous career best was 70!great self belief aided by inept keeper Dinesh karthik. he is to blame for this loss. any way, Mukund, Vijay, Badri and Balajee have made their mark. selectors would remember them.well played shukla, Parvinder and Amir!UP deserves a spot in final but wud love if Kaif and Raina come to party and praveen kumar& RP Singh get some much needed wickets in final.

A bit sad to see Amol Muzumdar struggling to get to the Ranji runs record -- reminiscent of the last days of Kapil Dev's Test career. Mumbai even promoted him to opener in the inconsequential second innings, but he's failed again. Muzumdar's been a fantastic servant of Mumbai cricket for many years, and thoroughly deserves the record. He was unlucky to have been in the same frame as Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman, competing for a middle-order spot in a team that already had Azhar, Manjrekar and Sachin established in that middle-order. His best bet might have been to convert himself into an opener, but somehow he never tried that.

what bye bye, Mumbai needed some luck. They were favorites, but Saurashtra guys fought hard and it was not easy for Mumbai. Now over to UP.

What BS! When Saurashtra won vs Mumbai in the leg-round, didn't they win the toss and win ? Mumbai needed to roll over your team to win the game, which we did. So bye-bye :hysterical:

Stunning stuff from Shukla. Batting for more than 9 hours to salvage a draw says a lot about his determination and ability. Mumbai vs UP, do I need to say who's gonna win it ?

roll over, hahahhha To roll over you need to take 20 wickets.. Did you take 20 wickets? See Round robin game, we took 17 of your wickets on absolute patta where you could not cross 200 in each innings.

UP!!!!!!!!!!:yay: Now topple Bombay!!! BTW, were these the semi finals of India's premier FC tournament where 1 innings was played out over 4 days?
http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=136218 Prof tum toh aisi baatein na karo :((:haha: I think we can say that TN choked after getting a solid start by the openers. Bala has to be commended for his efforts. India are struggling to find good bowlers and who else better than a in-form balaji can it be ? :yay:....smiling assassin :two_thumbs_up:

Is this a joke?
If it is, explain me how ? India's bowling arsenal for now is: Ishant, Zak, Munaf. IKP is 'out-of-form', Sree is busy dancing and RP is injury prone. We need to induct as many bowlers as possible (off course bowlers with some credentials) before we lose the three we have at the moment.

Arre...what's wrong in supporting my team. Even Bangladeshis cheer for their team!! BTW, Balaji was bowling at a blistering 120-125 kmph - he probably needs another injury free season before he can get upto speeds where he can threaten international sides.
