However what I do care about is this right wing Republicans who keep on harping on family values, being the most judgemental moral freaks who belive gayism means men will start making love to each other right in the lawns of White House. And then it is the Republicans who keep managing to throw such gems. Sarah Palin's daughter would bring more than a mention to US press. SHe is 17, is in high school and unmarried. If Sarah palin's youngest kid was indeed her daughters that would mean she had it at 15 something. At this time I am not buying this theory . I remember Laura Bush mentioning in an interview in March that she met Alaskan Governor who was pregnant and I have lot of respect for Laura Bush(even though I dislike her hubby). Like I said I couldnt care either way. I am unlike the judgemental moral freaks that Evangelists are, but I am certainly enjoying the humiliation that is coming their way. xxx Good Post !Concur with your sentiments here. Republicans are namesake conservatives.Some of these samples generally exhibit moral poverty when it comes to family values and do not practice what they preach.. What credibility these morons will really have , if they bestow hero status to hypocrites like Limbaugh , Hannity , Newt Gingrich etc . Limbaugh is a three time divorcee , Gingrich was caught cheating on his wife .. At least Guliani to his credit never claims to be a social conservative. Republicans must take a long hard look in the mirror . Some of these characters have their head buried in the sand , that's why they cling to useless social issues like opposing gay rights , abortion, flag burning etc which have no bearing on the day to day life of an average joe . One more issue I have with this Palin character is the fact that she knowingly decided to give birth to a child suffering from "Down's syndrome". The child is more burdened than the mom! Nothing great about her bone headed decision , in my humble opinion. On a different note John McCain opposed a Senate Democratic proposal that would have spent tens of millions of dollars to pay for pregnancy prevention programmes other than abstinence-only education, including education on emergency contraception such as the morning-after pill. Palin supported abstinence-only education , but did not support the funding . Teen pregnancy in USA is a national disgrace. If Americans can judge the lifestyles of Islamic world and rightly so , it's only fair that they be judged.

If America, and American media, is going to be all judgemental about say Middle Eastern values they should first pay attention to what kind of impression they send by having a VP with an unmarried teenage pregnant kid. At the end of it all I am convinced that whatever wrong is with United States, is essentially due to the Republican party, specially the current bigwigs like Romney, Guiliani, Thomson and now Palin. I would probably keep Huckabee away from it because for all his strong views he is a very pleasant man who doesnt mean harm to anyone while the others do. That plus the fact I have lived in Arkansas and have seen in action first hand. Heck had it been Huckabee on President ticket I may have even supported him. And of course he lost about 100 pounds which puts him right on top in my fitness freak ideology. What bothers me most is the sheer belligerence. It is almost that these buggers feel they are completely un-answerable to the public at large. Most of the statements, if not all, has been attack on Obama(which is not my problem) and how USA is facing a dangerous phase yada yada. But who exactly has led USA into this phase?? In last 28 years Republicans have been in White House for 20 years of it!! And the 8 years that they have been not has actually been the most prosperous and peaceful (1992-2000). None of the speakers mentioned a word about Bush, including Bush himself! None of them mentioned how the stature of USA has tanked. None of the speakers mention how USA economy is down in the dumps(although every speaker raised the issue of China becoming a big economy and hence big headache). I just fail to see how dumb leaders can get, and how dumber are the folks that support these blokes? xxx
