NEW DELHI: As New Delhi bled on Saturday evening, Pakistani army rangers allegedly violated the ceasefire agreement with the specific purpose of pushing in militants across the Line of Control (LoC). Times Now has learnt that while New Delhi was reeling from the aftershocks of the deadly serial blasts, Pakistani troops were pushing in militants into India. The violations took place between eight in the evening and ten-thirty in the night when the attention of the countries entire leadership was on containing the fallout of the Delhi serial blasts. According to highly placed military sources, Pakistani troops provided 'cover firing’ to infiltrate militants in Mendhar and Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch. Pakistan firing was also reported from Druchian posts and Rashid post. This is the 31st incident of firing from the Pakistan side in last 4 months. Firing on Indian troops from across LoC Indian troops were on Sunday fired at from across the line of control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, leaving a jawan injured, defence sources said. "There was firing from cross the LoC in Balnoi area of Poonch district. One jawan was hit by a bullet," they said adding the soldier was hospitalised. One to two rounds of rocket projectile grenades were also fired in the area, they said, adding the militants may have fired the rounds. Colonel S Jaswal, PRO of 16 Corps, said it was not a ceasefire violation and that no militants had infiltrated during the firing. "There is no ceasefire violation and matter is being blown out of proportion," he said referring to a media report about infiltration of militants.

terrible terrible action! This has been happening for a while now and every time the authorities blame each other. Some people quite simply do NOT want peace.
What are we to do if Pakistani troops breaks the 'peace' pact by exchanging fires across the border ? This is ridiculous act from the Pakistani side.

Very debatable as can be seen by the following statement Colonel S Jaswal, PRO of 16 Corps, said it was not a ceasefire violation and that no militants had infiltrated during the firing. "There is no ceasefire violation and matter is being blown out of proportion," he said referring to a media report about infiltration of militants. but there is no doubt that these things are happening for a while now, i can pull up several articles if you want. I am especially upset because there had been a lot of hope in PAK that the relationships with India were on the right track and the whole nation was waiting for a big "breakthrough".

If by breakthrough, you mean India give Kashmir away, its simply not going to happen. The moment that happens, it will destabilize India as a whole, and that is something that no one wants.

Well I'm not an expert on politics, but if Kashmir is separated from India, other regions of India 'may' ask for the same. Simply put, it would create a chain reaction. Something along the lines of a kid saying" Well you gave the cookie to him, so I want it too"

Pakistan currently doesnt have a leg to stand on- if we are to let go of Kashmir, by the same standards, you guys should let go of Baluchistan and FATA.

Wake up! Kashmir is staying with India for EVER! Those are the facts no matter how many people terrorists kill, so deal with it! Now learn to live in peace with this reality! Also the reality is that Israel will always exist, so deal with that as well. Also Chechniya will always be with the Russians as well. And all those other islamic seperatrist movements world wide eg China etc are going to get you no where! Muslims must learn that killing people will get them Jack. And that they have no alternative but to live in peace under the rules and laws of people from different religions when the country is non islamic! You are not going to get new islamic states! Deal with this reality and move on!

Since, the arrival of USA in Pakistan. They fear India too, will try anything to put pressure on Pakistan either. Pakistan is in difficult position now. There is nothing, but only interest in politics. I fear Pakistan-India friendship will be effected

I dont think this ever existed in the first place, there's only been some farcial lull in between cross border firings and ROP terrorist attacks. Blame it on politics or whatever, but things like Kargil intrusion weeks after AB Vajpayee's historic bus tour diplomacy with Pak can never be wiped away from publc memory. That was back stabbing at its best!!!

My dear friend , Mrs Bhutto ****ed it up big time for India and Pak when she openly said "bacah bacha kahega Kashmir mein Azadi azadi azadi" .. Just imagine if an Indian PM goes to the media and says "Sindh lega azadi ... bacha bacha bolega azadi ... " . Since I saw that video I have little respect for pak as a nation
