veer Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 ICFers.. need your insight or tips in this matter.. I am a citizen and want to bring wife to US... File I-130 (immigration form for spouse) in June but process has been very slow from immigration office for one reason or the other.. Thing is I want to bring her here withing 3-4 months. Tallked to different people.. lawyers and friends.. and they are recommending me to file I-129F with K3 visa.. Is it a good idea? Anyone has gone through filing K3 on top of I-130 ?

K-3 are for Spouses of U.S. citizens and can come to the United States on nonimmigrant visas (K-3) and wait in the United States to complete the immigration process.
