King
Why are pitches for such a high profile test series so ridiculous? It's a shame to see balls keeping low on day 2 and day 3 of the game. This just doesn't promote good watchable cricket at all. I can understand a day 5 pitch being a touch variable but it's ridiculous to see balls going under the bat consistently. This doesn't help the batsmen or the bowlers. Is it so hard to produce pitches that have consistent bouce for the first 3 to 4 days of the test match? Link to comment

King
This stadium has a kiwi curator apparently.... I would have expected the ball to seam left, right and center in that case. Guess he's not had much say then. Link to comment
HouMac
It's India. What do you expect? Which is why I prefer India playing Test matches outside the subcontinent. The pitches are so much better. And good pitches are what makes Tests interesting. Link to comment

Sachinism
Had it been the other way around we wouldnt have been having this discussion There would be a mention of it Its a serious matter, India still can't produce decent pitches 2 days of average performance by the pitch and then it turns to cr@p BCCI will probably say its a new pitch, give it time, but if the pitch is not ready, don't use it Link to comment
