Fontaine
One of the reasons why Indian pace bowling has been able to dominate the batsmen is through the early reverse swing on offer. As early as the 8/9th over we were seeing the ball reverse. Has this EVER happened before? I know there are differences in the SG/Kookaburra ball in terms of seam position but I've never, ever seen, in India, the ball take on reverse so early with one side smooth the other clearly rough. Can anyone else tell me if this has ever occurred? I was hoping for movement in Mohali but wasn't sure because of the conditions. If the Indian bowlers can really hone this skill and use it consistently then we could be virtually unbeateable at home. And yes, I'm thinking all about the WC 2011. Combine with our spin bowling we could be real contenders. So anybody have any ideas as to if this is the first time this has happened so early? Link to comment
Lord
WITH ZAK N ISHANT,we actually have pace in our pacers, important part for reversing.earlier pacers used to bowl mid 130s but thse two hit 140 regularly Link to comment
Ram
I dont ever remembering the ball reversing that early, ever. Maybe the Aussies are so spooked, they have begun hallucinating. :D Link to comment
