Rajiv Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Question is inter-related The Original one is in post # 1 ( asked on Video Forums ), the related part is post # 2 --------------------------------- Hello I just bought the Pioneer DVR 560H-K and little lost about the "Connect to PC via USB" According to the Manual I connected via USB Port B and my PC recognized it ( XP pro ) - but it recognized it as a Digital Camera and installed itself I double click it and see 3 folders for Music, Pictures and Video but the problem is I cannot paste anything, I copy something from my HDD and try to paste, paste is faded and I can't drag and drop nor there is any properties like read only? Can someone help
Rajiv Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Now, considering the PC sees a Digital Camera.. I am sure we have many camera users here, can you copy paste into the Digital Camera; I assume same concept Why Can't I copy/paste?
Cricketics Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 do you have the sd card adapter slot in your laptop?? and if yes, then u can simply save the files on your sd card by copy-pasting your files on the sd card after you have connected your sd card to your p.c through the sd card adapter... and then put that same sd card in your digi cam.. don't know why copy-paste is not working..
Holysmoke Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 maybe the camera is using a different filesystem, one that is read-only for XP.

Rajiv Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 maybe the camera is using a different filesystem' date=' one that is read-only for XP.[/quote'] Have you ever copy/pasted to a Digi Cam - ? has it worked ? Vista or XP
Rajiv Posted November 10, 2008 Author Posted November 10, 2008 OK, the problem was XP. I installed Vista on a different partition and it worked Now, the problem is Vista is Primary OS, so whenever I reboot I get this Earlier Version of Windows Windows Vista and its on Vista with 30 seconds I was XP to be main OS, last time I screwed up when I had this scenario Where should I tell the OS that XP is the main OS
