This is not a thread to discuss any religion. i just want to know what is ALLAH Taala. i hear this term lot of times used in movies and in daily life used by lot of Islamics.. what does it mean ALLAH TAALA
kablooee87 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Ta'ala means "Exalted is he." So when someone says Allah Ta'ala, it is translated as "Allah, exalted is he." Sometimes you may also hear the phrase Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala which means "Allah, glorified is he and exalted."

AllahuAKbar means - Allahu Akbar means 'ALLAH is the Greatest' (in stature , glory etc..), meaning that nothing can supersede God or be better than Him. It is a common phraze in Islam and it features in the adhan and prayer. Muslims tend to use it for lots of reasons and to express many emotions.

My friend, a Muslim, lost a relative and decided to be more religious and next time I met him, he had a long beard. Is a beard necessary in practicing Islam? I see many with and many without one. Is one with a beard considered more religious than one without?

Is one with a beard considered more religious than one without? Keeping beard is not only significant in Islam but also in Judaism and Christanity. We keep beard because all the prophets had it ... Its part of nature for men to have beard .... Those Muslims who don't have beard can't be called as non practicing ... neither men with beard call as a perfect practicing muslims... But yes we keeping beard and a step towards getting religious ... I believe in Hinduism also those sanyasi used to have beard ... Well i also have a beard and have no trouble with my Management :D
