fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 The entire country seems to be united not just against the terrorists but also in its fury against the political class in the aftermath of the terror strike in Mumbai. Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan and Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had a taste of it when they tried to visit the family of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan of NSG who was killed in action in Mumbai inside the Taj Hotel encountering terrorists. The killed Major's father K. Unnikrishnan, who had shown unusual emotional restraint for three days after his only son's death, let out his spleen on the leaders coming from his native state when they came to condole at his house in Bangalore. Unnikrishnan, a former ISRO officer locked his gates and refused to let the ministers into his house. When the police strategically had him shifted from his house for a few minutes, the chief minister got in and garlanded Sandeep's photograph and met Dhanalakshmi, the bereaved mother. The mother too did not speak to the chief minister who stood near her for a few minutes. By then a furious Unnikrishnan came running in and admonished those who helped the leader get in. He also angrily asked the chief minister to leave. "I have no respect left for you Mr. VS," he shouted. Unnikrishnan's relatives said he was particularly upset that no representative from the Kerala government attended Sandeep's funeral. Earlier Unnikrishnan had also refused to attend a condolence phone call from A.K. Antony, Union Minister for Defence.
Cricketics Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 the article missed the biggest news of the day which all the news channels would be encouragly showing all day now and torture us with. the news was that the CM OF Kerla, after being refused to enter the house of Late Major Sandeep by his father, the CM OF Kerela said " even a dog won't glance or enter their house. i only have respect for his son. His father is ....." that coming from a CM of a state is just utter b.s.
fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 The wishes of the family of Major U. Sandeep should have been honored. Rather than do all these "strategically moving the father out of the house" by police etc.

Bravo Politicians, you have shown the true color.

I want some god damn terrorist to shoot the bloody politicians
fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 CM of Kerala insults slain Major Sandeep's father - anger in Kerala People are really angry that CM of Kerala has insulted Sandeep's father saying "Not even a dog would glance or enter your house"... Politicians dont have the basic courtesy to give the space requested by family. The family clearly said they dont want them to come, and the police played a naatak which angered the father. there was stepping down of indolent Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil on the ground of moral responsibility followed by chair-loving another irresponsible politician, Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister and state home minister R R Patil, who uttered a filthy statement, certainly wasn’t merely a slip of tongue, by dubbing Mumbai terror incident as “small incidents”. This was in no way warranted from the responsible home minister. As if this was not enough, another reckless public show came from the state Chief Minister Vilas Rao Deshmukh himself when he took with his protocol team the actor son Ritesh Deshmukh and the Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma while visiting the devastated Taj Hotel, as they had gone to a picnic spot. Fed up of these selfish politicians, people this time are in no mood to forgive them and forget the incident so easily. There is anger and resentment boiling over among people against those political classes and ready to burst anytime, which went off Sunday when the slain NSG commando Major Sandeep UnniKrishnan’s father literally shooed away Kerala chief minister V S Achuthanandan. None of the Kerala ministers even talked the slain commando’s family for three days and when the CM facing criticism for delay in offering condolences to the bereaved family, tried to make up by calling on the Unnnikrishanan’s family, had to face the rage.
fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 These bloody politicians are a disgrace, they cannot even respect a slain Major and his family. How will they respect ordinary citizens? Time for a dismissal of all these lousy politicians. How I wish, some of these politicians got caught up in Oberoi and Taj as hostages. Some of them should have been caught there. It would have taught them respect for our commandos.
fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 danramrah, VS achu shud be made to realize he is the real patti for saying such stmts  first step, immediate public apology on television needed from that patti
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 What purpose did this serve for acchutananad ..
fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 What purpose did this serve for acchutananad .. he's showing that "he is the guy in power" all politicians are power mongering and show off folkz. each and every one of them.
SachDan Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 danramrah, VS achu shud be made to realize he is the real patti for saying such stmts  first step, immediate public apology on television needed from that patti finey, before this unfortunate incident happened,I had the utmost respect for the guy and am sure most of the Keralites hold himin high esteem irrespective of the party they supported, coz of the non-corrupt political career he had so far. I,for one was devastated to hear him make such an atrocious statement.Mind you,he's one of the oldest CMs in India.More than 85 he is and probably age is catching up with him!
fineleg Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 well, its no excuse for such offensive stmt. Now that he said it, public apology must come if he is indeed an honest to himself guy.
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 he's showing that "he is the guy in power" all politicians are power mongering and show off folkz. each and every one of them. I guess you are right in communazi den even democratic power flows through barrle of the gun of their foot soldiers.. they hardly care about public opinion......... Any politician who respected public opnion wud have gone underground after seeing public anger don't ask why public is angry and you must respect their sentiment.. but we are talkng about communist when did they have respect for democratic process anyway...... Not all are like that did you hear any counter BS from Modi .. he got he message people are angry and hence is keeping low profile as opposed to invoking lines like Even dogs wud not visist.. Reason is he wins and loses by people's vote unlike communists who rely on their gun-wielding cadres......
fineleg Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 NM is no saint. He belongs to those politicians list as well.
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Nobody is saint but he does respect public opinion
