Sachinism Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 A live bomb was found at a private nursing home in a posh locality in Nagpur on Saturday evening, police said. The sniffer dog of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad located the bomb, which was wrapped in a plastic bag, police said. Police found the explosive kept under a sofa in the nursing home and was promptly removed by the bomb disposal and detection squad, police said. An unidentified person had called up from a local STD telephone booth informing the nursing home, "a bomb has been planted and you have ten minutes to act," Zonal DCP Suresh Makela told reporters. The bomb was immediately taken for disposal by the BDDS, police added. source: NDTV
