Raj thackeray asked him to recite 2 lines of poem and SRT without thinking said 'yes i can do it'. He tried to look for good poems and eventually had a poem which he recited to his wife anjali. He did not like it. Eventually he ended up reciting his father's poem as it is close to him. During the 1999 WC when he came back after attending his father's funeral, when he hit 100 and looked skywards he could see his father's face. phew... good thing I am still in touch with Marathi bhasa :eyedance:
