Being laughed at for one thing one day and another thing the next day, being looked upon as a joke ? Probably not. It's clear to anyone here that you know absolutely nothing about cricket and your attempts to construct arguments are trollish at best, retarded at worst. You may think that i am just trying to take a shot at you, but this is the god's honest truth with no malice intended. Pretty much everyone else on this forum feels the same way. Other people here have said far worse things about you then i ever will...look at the post above mine, for example. You can conveniently ignore this and say that there people on here that value your opinion and that I alone am the root of all evil, but don't you think for one second that if that were true, then i would have been a goner long ago ? People may pay attention to a paan stain on the wall when its stuck there everyday, but that doesn't mean they value it as part of the building. As a poster here, you are basically like a stripper who entertains people at shady bars - expect the only difference is that you don't charge - the entertainment you provide is low grade, cheap entertainment for free. And instead of clients actually asking you to shake your ass in their face, you willingly walk up to them and do it to them yourself...honestly, can't you have a little bit of self-respect and NOT embarrass yourself every single day ? It will be vastly different if you make a positive suggestion without throwing in a whole bunch of abuses. i've had people make some suggestions to me in the past on this very ICF (some on PM, so you may not have read those) - and i have made some adjustments. but u think u can personally attack, and at the same time expect a change. First, talk in the right way - basically I have never started any personal attack against you - how did this bitterness between you and me start? you have taken a cricket thread in the past and turned it into a personal attack against me. Thats how it started. If you did not like the thread or some message - you can PM me, or tell me decently - instead you chose to attack! Dont do that, and yes you may have some good suggestions - but the message only gets lost when you mix it in with insults and abuses. Everyone can change or improve - and giving feedback is fine. But throwing insults and mocking any ICF members will only make them engage in a fight and make a mess of the place. There is a way to give feedback and it can be done decently and very often 1-1 or PM will work best - sometimes its ok to do some feedback in public, if it is done decently - That will be effective - then to some extent atleast people will make changes.

If you read some of the posts in that other bumped thread, there were a lot of people who told you in a much more polite manner that you lacked a sense of perspective or any serious cricketing knowledge, and were very much in the wrong with some of your knee-jerk reactions and emotional comments. You chose to simply ignore them and blow them off then. Some of us have given up arguing on certain matters or watched people like Tendulkar simply prove you wrong over and over again, others have decided that being polite didn't get a message through and changed tack.

You are perfectly within your right to express your comfort on who you communicate with, and I am ok with your choice. Whether I reveal my gender or not is my preference, and that has nothing to do with posting about cricket or other political or any other topic. Its "internet" as you say, and i have the right to privacy (to extent I want) and also the freedom to express my point of view (without indulging in personal abuses on members as some here overstep the line) on any topic.

fineleg Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 It is bad manners to hide ones gender and puts off people who want to talk to you as they dont know how to address you. nothing to do with bad manners - its my preference and my privacy that I chose to exercise. I have clearly said when i joined here, i am not revealing it. You can look at my initial posts #1-10 if there is a search on here - i have expressed it. As far as addressing me, fineleg, finey, FL is fine. Some people use "name calling" and "abuses" - depending on the severity I report it to mods - as dsr knows not all get acted upon.
