jf1gp_1 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 A few weeks back i saw output from a HD camcorder and was blown away by the difference between home video shot from my SD cam compared to the HD one, and immediately decided to upgrade. I have more or less decided to buy HCR SR11, however sony also offers a cheaper model SR10 with more or less same feature MINUS an eye view finder. All the digi camcorders/ cameras i have owned in past have had a viewfinder which i honestly never used because of the lcd display but i always wanted that option for times when low on battery or incase something goes wrong with LCD. Bottom line there is $175-$200 difference between the two and i am not sure if its worth paying that much just for a view finder (apart from some other features which i don’t really care about) So my question is do you currently own or have owned a cam in past which didn’t have a EVF and what sort of an experience do you have ?
