Here is the deal, all math worked out: Lets assume India scores 250 & beats SL by the lowest margin possible -> 1 run. That will end us up at NRR: 1.68 This is what Bangladesh must do to qualify. In the clash between Bermuda & BD, BD must bat first. If BD bats second, they are OUT before they start. To catch up with India, they must have knocked off the target in less overs than they have already used up, which is impossible. So they must bat first. If BD scores anything less than 437, they are OUT. If BD scores 450, they have to bowl out Bermuda for under 11 If BD scores 500, they have to bowl out Bermuda for 64. Given the money riding on India, Bermuda would be instructed to bat first if they win the toss :hic: . If we beat SL, we are thru

The OP shows India squeaking past SL, with the worst possible NRR, effectively accounting for all scenarios under which India wins. If India wins comfortably, Pakistan has a better chance of making it to the super-8 than BD :hic:

feeling horrible ofcourse. no fan wants to see his team thrashed. but we fielded terrible, I think for the weaker team in the field, fielding should be 100% perfect. we missed atleast 3 runouts and 2/3 catches. how can we fight from there when the opponent is SL. and BD needs some more time to mentally strong enough to chase 300+. Anyway, we still have pretty good chance to move to super 8, let SL do their business.
do u seriously think that SL will beat IND? dude, we already got our GPL for this WC... :hic: now the giants have woken up SL-------> :help:

i dont think, it is irrelevant..... i dont think, the original post shows the worst possible NRR.... the NRR is weighted....
