However, if there were so many Australians living in India, I think they may attract similar name tags as well. Not saying that makes it right though.

I mean after all it is true, and it's hardly something derogatory.. not that I ever call Indians curry munchers though - pretty dumb insult if you ask me. Anyway I loled at the videos. It would be great to see what Aussies had to say about English cricket..

Wow......here in the USA that would be considered a racist slur and for good reason......phaacking white aussie rednecks!!! I cant see how curry munchers would be offensive, I mean Indians eat curry, maybe they munch it if they are feeling particularly ravenous. Its like them saying english are fish and chips munchers or something.

Unfortunately -- as I have said in the past -- the word 'racism' is being abused. Like using the word "PAKIs" is racism in Britain -- I mean give me a friggin break. Heck even use of the word 'Negro' is not racism in INDIA at least as of 10 years ago. It is so commonly used in India -- there is no racial connotation attached to it. I remember I purchased a Tape where they had a nursery song -- A for Apple, B for Boy -- N for Negro. I got it to the US -- heard it the 1st time and threw it away. But I guess the point is -- it is so commonly used -- not knowing how else to refer to the blacks.

And I am sure it was coined as a short form for Pakistani -- which is 3 or more syllables -- too big for me. And Britain had lots and lots of these morons in the 60s and 70s -- for them brown skinned means Pakis and nothing else. Whats more Pakistan literally translates to "Land of Pakis" -- when you Literally break it up -- so I am not sure why those f**k heads get uptight all about it. But then a lot more things dont make sense to me about them -- this is nothing.
