Shane Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Sri Lanka 147 (30.3/31 ov) Bangladesh 98/3 (17.5/31 ov) Bangladesh require another 50 runs with 7 wickets in hand :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
sandtest Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 interesting, so far BAW has not been able to pick any wicket. Yuvi must watch these matches.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 these matches are so lopsided i dont understand why people bother to open up threads and spend so much time commentating remember, odi matches other than the world cup are meaningless -> so, why bother? especially, with minnows
sandtest Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 ^^...we are surrounded by Minnows. As Munmun Singh says our destiny is shared onlee :hysterical:

You must be stoned mate... I was just hoping that someone opens a thread for this match. BD are doing awesome and Mendis the BAW is being Al Hussed... Although there wasn't much fireworks against him, he has been neatly negotiated and now Kulasekara is being taken to the cleaners. Love to see SLankans getting thrashed by Bangla brothers...
DomainK Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Sakib is on fire....but losing partners fast.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 ^^ these are all lopsided contests australia v ireland? v zimbabwe? v bangladesh? seriosly, who cares lankan's are minnows - their oppostion are i rather watch minnows v minnows rather than the top 8 test nations v minnows
DomainK Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I enjoy matches even between Ireland and Canada. I would have loved to watch Sakib go after the Lankans....but alas, I am in office.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 either way, who cares unless its something absolutely sensational like pak's bribing bangla in the 99 wc or being humiliated by a bunch of part times in the 07 wc, frankly, i dont give a toss minnows v minnows is a diff story altogether, one i would follow, provided i have free time

Dinx - the Jinx Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Its minnows beating an established side that gives beaty to such contest.. BTW... are SL knocked out of the finals?

Why do you call this the best match ever? Just because it was a minnow beating a mighty one? There were many crunch matches before and after this one, that can be qualified as best.. Upset are truly enjoyable. But they dont become the best ever, just because of that?
cowboysfan Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 shakib al hasan is really impressing me.if he keeps this up he could be the best all rounder in cricket-assuming bangus still have their test status.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 well, well, bangladesh won seriously, i wasn't expecting that dinakkar: dude, seroiusly, calm down. i don't have cable television and for that reason, i dont bother to watch games where minnows are usually playing. But, dont be mistaken into thinking I wish to undermine their efforts -> one of the greatest priveleges comes from watching an underdog defy all odds and win -> but, by that same token, i dont wish to hold my breath and watch match after match to see that happen
