Desi Cartman Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Im planning to change my internet plan and I intend to use to use it to watch online TV (say 2 hrs a day), every now and then I will also watch cricket match (most cricket matches are on TV though since I have cable TV). What should be the minimum speed that I would need and how much of the download would this watching TV online take. PS: Ican either get cable Broadband or ADSL .. no ADSL to for me ( Please HELP :agree:

Desi Cartman Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 i have 512 kpbs plan right now .. and i can only watch ndtv live since the speed is never more than 200 :(( It will cost me $100 to get out of the contract but at least it will save me from ocassional speeds of less than 20kpbs .. Im getting a 12GB plan (plus homephone for $75 a month) at 17Mbps :D ... its gonna be a cable connection and not 3G powered wireless broadband ...

Rajiv Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 So for 39.95, its 400MB Usage, For 59.95 its 12GB They are obviously tryng to pull u in for 59.95 - and for 20 more a month, u can download some - the TV watching and Browsing is not big deal - My HD Satellite receiver is Internet Only device and 24/7 30 days/ month and it hardly sucks data - 50mb around
