Ram Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 BJP seems to have gotten its alliances really wrong. There are hardly any worthwhile allies in the NDA
graphic23 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 BJP seems to have gotten its alliances really wrong. There are hardly any worthwhile allies in the NDA And the ones they do have are all opportunistic ones without any true support for NDA.
Desi Cartman Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Sidhu :woot: :(( Chiru's only got 2 seats. :-/ Congress will (has) win (won) AP. Assembly seems hung though. U sure .. I thought he was leading in 60+
ViruRulez Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Congress seems to have won the elections now and will form the govt. probably without the support of communist Left The best part of today's results is that this showed that India has voted for mainly two parties - Congress and BJP once again instead of voting for regional parties. It is a good sign for Indian democracy because in the last two decades the votes were getting divided between regional parties and the national parties were only getting 120-160 seats resulting in a weak coalition Left are one of the biggest losers of this election and most of the regional parties have also lost a lot of seats
graphic23 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 U sure .. I thought he was leading in 60+ 2 seats Lok Sabha. 19 seats in Assembly. But its not very surprising because he caused this himself because he only gave himself 9 months before the elections. Had he given himself 2 years, would've probably given himself a bigger chance to cause an upset.

ViruRulez Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Congress and UPA also winning back state elections of AP and Maharastra ... Congress has gained the most .. MNS has also got better vote percentage in Maharastra denting BJP/NDA
ViruRulez Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 RJD absolutely owned in Bihar It was predicted that RJD will face huge losses and so it is not surprising
cowboysfan Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 and modi gets to lead BJP ' date=' actually that can be good for the country cuz Im sure next elections its gonna be Rahul Gandhi Vs Narendra Modi[/quote'] I dont want Modi to lead BJP-he is too polarizing. The BJP has suffered due to a lack of a strong leader. If Modi becomes the leader then we will have a weaker opposition party-not good at all.
cowboysfan Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 UPA's tally projected down to 240. Its not over yet 245 is more than enough mm.
