Mamu Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 THese rankings have no great meaning In the above list -- there are 4 teams that are playing quality opposition against each other and others are playing minnows or not so much of a quality opposition. Also NZ is affected by this -- cuz it has been playing good opposition and I am not sure if its ranking justifes what it is doing. On the other hand -- Pakis are not playing at all -- or playing once in a blue-moon on dead pitches and/or are playing Bangers and Zimbabwe which is why u see Younis Khan and MoYo in there. Shiv Chanderpaul regained his spot on top with his 147 n.o. in the last Test against England. You are quite wrong about YK. Way wrong. His most recent Tests have been against Sth. Africa, England and India. In fact, his last 32 Tests have been against those countries and the Windies ..... AND .... 3 Tests against Australia. During this time, he has scored 11 centuries, including a triple, a 267, and two 190s. He also has 11 scores of over 50. He has not played against a 'minnow' in more than 5 years. Link to comment

Even someone with half a brain could have found it. Test ratings are published after each Test ODI ratings are posted after a series has finished.
