He has a fair bit of experience and he will definitely come in handy,†observed Chandrasekar. Prasad, who has been with the Indian team as the bowling coach for a couple of seasons now, is the latest addition to the Super Kings’ support staff headed by coach Stephen Fleming. Chandrasekar opined that Prasad and Fleming, the former New Zealand captain, would complement one another. Fleming, who was part of the Super Kings last year as player, has since opted for a coaching role for the 2009 edition of the Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament. “I feel that Venky would be a big advantage for Fleming who himself is a great strategist,†Chandrasekar said. He believed that the younger bowlers in the Super Kings team will have plenty to gain from Prasad’s presence.
