Democratically elected.....lol. Abdullah- fixed elections (1987)- shameless rigging. Wimp mentality. Best of a bad bunch I guess. Omar Abdullah should try and live in Srinagar. Democratically elected for a place that he never goes to and as many Indians would testify- speaks differently in Srinagar and Delhi- an absolute two-faced joke! What a ridiculous speech he did in Lok Sabha- made no sense and was ambigious in its entirity. Have some respect for Jinnah dude (who commented about the India has nothing in common with Kashmir) and don't call it nonsense. If Advani can visit his mausoleum and say he was a great man then surely your mind can allow you to say that.

You are again ill informed. Kahsmir Assembly is physically in Srinagar and Omar Abdullah being a CM lives there and attends assembly every day. Stop believing in nosense that you are fed by friday mosque prayer. Yes no doubt 1987 election was rigged by Rajeev Gandhi. Our congress party has shown this kind of autocracy even in other states. things have changed since now a very powerful opposition exists in India so most probably these idiots wud not be allowed to get away with that kind of murder of democracy. But fact is after advent of NDA very free and fair poll was held and ataking leaf from NDA this time even UPA has held very free and fair poll. poll rigigns is things of past now in India.> yes at local level someone might capture a booth or two but overall rigging is out of equation. Instead of accepting that truth you are still harping on somethign that happend 22 years back. Omar Abdullah lives iN Srinagar he is democratically elected in a free and fair poll whole wordl believes it you can believe in your fantassy more power to you. This time one sepratist Lone is fighting election and if he is popular he will get elected and will get to ut his point in Indian parliament. We do not carpet bomb opposition like Pakistani did in case of bugti and are still doing which the killing of all the sepratist leaders of Baluchistan shows. I am not at all surprised over you skirting that issue and talking ad-nauseum from wrong end about Kashmir.. Get back to OP whihc deals with extra judicial killing of separatist leader in balushistan.> Which involves carpet-bombing by army of its own territory. This has to be unprecedented event in history of the world where army resorts to indiscriminate killing of its own population through aerial bombing

Come up with a better example than this crook from a generation of crooks please! That wimp ran away when the trouble was on and returned when things died down a bit- wimp mentality. If it's about markets- lets just say that Srinagar is a lot closer to Rawalpindi and Islamabad than it is to New Delhi :D :two_thumbs_up: Omar Abdullah and co...try spending more than 15 nights a year in Srinagar (rather than most in Delhi)- and lets see how you think life is.
Pardon my ignorance but you are acting as if Rawalpindi and Islamabad are two of the hottest economic zones in Asia! Seriously what kind of logic is it to have proximity to 2 cities which are not so much as a blip on radar of the world?? If it was Karachi, or Lahore, even then you had a case..Rawalpindi??? The larger question of course is can a landlocked state survive? The easy answer is NO. You have to look around Asian map and see examples of Nepal, Bhutan, Mangolia etc etc and see where they stand on economic level. Traditionally cities build around ports have been prosperous for a reason - trade. Even today, with all the latest gadgets and gizmos, the biggest US cities (New York, Chicago, LA etc etc) have water route close by. Or London, or Hong Kong, or Shanghai or Tokyo. Take your pick. I would be interested in knowing a few prosperous land locked state. Specially those who have two strong countries on either side of it. xxx

Sajjad Lone wants free Kashmir with India and Pakistan having important say. Does not mean he wants to be with India!! Abdullah is like his whole family before him- a wimp. Why have all that security there if he is Kashmiri and feels safe? He's a tool. Ok so you prefer raping, killing and mass graves as opposed to carpet bombing- makes it better doesn't it in your opinion? I hope Sajjad Lone gets elected and puts his rightful opinion in Indian parliament and maybe they will finally get the message! As someone with family connections in Kashmir- you simply cannot beat me in this debate and I am still here after weeks of debating- which I can see is really angering you

Sree_india, Pathans from SWAT and Kashmiris are totally different people if you look at history. Pathans are very difficult people- although hot blooded and warrior-like, they often don't use their heads! Kashmiris are a more level-headed population, yet emotional in other ways. Punter, Mr. Kashmir speaks! :D As you can imagine- Kashmir has been a contentious issue for so many years- and violence is not the best way to solve it. However, there are Kashmiri youth- generation after generation- that do not want Indian union. Indian government believes a high election turnout in the valley = call for Indian union...not the case as you can confirm Punter. The people are voting for bread-and-butter issues but this is no substitute for self-determination. These days it would be called a '2nd partition' if Kashmir valley was handed over to Pakistan and Jammu and Ladakh to India thus India's government will not allow this, which is fair enough from the Indian perspective. I compare the Kashmir valley being ruled by India akin to asking people in England to be ruled by the French....maybe that should be suggested to Gordon Brown and David Miliband. Kashmir never had anything culturally, religiously or ethnically in common with India. A few points I ask:- 1) Is Jammu and Kashmir, currently held by India, really ruled by Srinagar or is it in my suspicion, ruled by New Delhi? (just as Azad Kashmir held by Pakistan is ruled by Islamabad despite placing a goverment in the area) 2) Rightfully you suggest that Kashmiri pundits are involved in the future- therefore should this not be suggested to the many people that fled Srinagar and the valley to go to Pakistan? My proposal considering the generali refusal by India to budge on self-determination and Pakistan's refusal to have a LoC as permanent border is one of the two solutions:- 1) Have Azad Kashmir and Kashmir valley independent state with India and Pakistan having a say in the area 2) ...or demilitarise whole state of J&K including Northern Areas, Jammu and Ladakh and have joint soverignty in the area with people from or originially from the state having freedom to move across the area
BIGGEST PIECE OF CRAP YOU HAVE UTTERED, and believe me, you have UTTERED A LOT OF IT RECENTLY. GO **** YOURSELF YOU INBRED. What do you mean it had nothing in common with INDIA ? The whole crapland that is Pakistan came out of India, so what the **** are you talking about ? Kashmir has been historically one of the most important thriving zones of shaivaite HINDUISM. If the homeland of Pandits has nothing to do with India, then I don't know what is.

Why does any politicain anywhere in country has security for that matter.. Stop beratign friday night prayer talk.. Whether you like it ro not Abdullah is democratically elected in fair election endorsed by whole world. I am sure no pakistani knows what fair election means and I empathize you becasue you have been brought in sham democracy. BTW ask your leaders too why they need security. For that matter even those separatist leaders have security provided by GOI. Raping killing mass graves these remain allegations while carpet bombing whole wordl saw. Moreovere what makes you think that an army which indulges in carpet-bombing wud not indulge in raping. Do you want me to show the abu Ghraib style prison for baluchistani in karachi.> That is report of pakistani media.. Debate and you buddy you are recklessly rponoucing nonsense and evading issues that's no debate that's cop-out.. Free baliuchistan and we will free kashmir till you do that you are a hypocrite idiot

You have been posting crap for last few days and I ignored it. You had the guts to say the above? Shame on you! Proof positive that Islam eats the host's culture and brain cells. Moderate Pakieeee my backside. Guy is just putting a front. You had the cheek to say to me that it's too late for my people (KPs) and we should stay in Jammu but you yourself want to roll with your mum and dad on a Shikara in Srinagar? LOL Dude do you even speak Kashmiri? Not some Mirpuri crap. I suggest you stick in POK or some Indian soldier might carve you up real nice. Personally I would banish you to Ashai Chin, get it back from China first you snake. How the hell do Pakis get visa to visit India and even work in Indian hospitals is beyond me :finger:

He is Brit by birth and Paki by nature. That's how he gets the visa. Whether he gets rest of the points in your post - or your drift for that matter - is another game.

Well I put in a sarky comment due to the sheer number I got in the political section. Kumble_rocks makes a good comment- don't abuse me personally. I make good, strong points. Whether you agree or not is not the point. I don't have anything against you personally- any of you. This is a forum for debate (this section) and discussion. I have made some good mates it seems. Calling me a ter....ist is really unfair. I don't believe in violence, I like the country and that includes the part of Kashmir India holds. I love the people too- as everybody knows.

Why are you censoring your daily activities? And how is it unfair to call you by your profession ? You bring your sorry ass here, and expect me to welcome all your points when you are spouting absolute **** (from whatever end) by saying that Kashmir has nothing in common with India. Go **** yourself, or better yet, go read some history - and not the terrorist version where Indians kill Muslims. I identify myself with my country, you with your religion. Oh, and you don't believe in violence is it? Can you please ask why your friends and cousins killed 179 innocent people in November please? (I'm being polite too).

Please read this article. These people are beyond help ************************************************************************************ Pakistan says it can be 'role model' for Muslim world 15 Apr 2009, 1756 hrs IST, AFP TOKYO: Pakistan's foreign minister said on Wednesday his country can be a role model for the Muslim world, speaking ahead of a donors' meeting inJapan where Islamabad hopes to secure huge aid contributions. "Pakistan has transferred towards democracy," foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said. "And today I represent a democratically elected government of Pakistan." "Pakistan can be a role model of the Muslim world," he told reporters ahead of the meeting that aims to raise four to six billion dollars for the poverty-stricken country. Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in Tokyo Wednesday evening to attend the conference, which US envoy Richard Holbrooke and Iranian foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki are also due to join. Qureshi said Pakistan has "a functioning democracy" with an elected president, national and district parliaments and its first woman speaker in the national assembly. What Pakistan seeks from the Friday meeting is "an expression of political support of Pakistan's solidarity, Pakistan's role... as a frontline state fighting extremism and terrorism," he said. Washington has put Pakistan at the heart of the fight against al-Qaida and US President Barack Obama has unveiled a sweeping new strategy to turn around the Afghan war and defeat Islamist militants on both sides of the border. Qureshi also said a majority of Pakistani people would like to see friendly ties with India as well as neighbouring countries Afghanistan and Iran. "Our movements towards normalization (of ties with India) was very good. Unfortunately the Mumbai incident did create a setback," he said, referring to the November 26-29 siege that killed 165 people and derailed a five-year peace process between the nuclear-armed south Asian rivals. "But I must share with you that there is a large constituency of Pakistan that feels that it is Pakistan's interest to have a normal, good, neighbouring relationship with India," he said. On Iran and Afghanistan, Qureshi said he had invited senior officials from both countries to come to Islamabad to discuss Afghan refugees and efforts to fight the narcotics trade and terrorism. "Because when we talk about a regional approach to deal with terrorism and extremism, Iran is an important player in the region," he said. The Japanese government said that Prime Minister Taro Aso will meet Zardari and Iran's Mottaki separately on Thursday. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/World/Pakistan/Pakistan_says_it_can_be_role_model_for_Muslim_world_/articleshow/4406060.cms ************************************************************************************* Definitely :bird: :bird:
