The coach revealed that 12th captain will provide useful information to other skippers regarding off field controversies. "As the team is usually surrounded by number of controversies, the 12th man can help in providing information if any controversy arise during course of match. Due to this captain, the other captains can concentrate on their game" coach Ricky said. Meanwhile, Rohan Gavaskar (son of Sunil Gavaskar) has criticised it. Like one captain for fielding and one captain for batting. Or even better different captains for different overs. How about a specialized captain for toss?
