Listening to fleming's post match interview he mentioned about why CSK took the time out much earlier while batting. Interesting thought process. Once the assault started they don't want a break in momentum.

All I am saying is that they do away with strategic breaks and just have a drinks break. Having no breaks at all will be tough. BTW dude, I have been to at least 6 IPL matches, so I know exactly what goes on during the strategic breaks.

Many teams use the timeout just to have a break and hydrate themselves. Usually when the batting side is going along well, the batsman just ask for towels and drinks. But sometimes, like in the eliminator, the coaches are also out on t he field and they make a strategy. CSK turned the game around after the 1st timeout.
